Star Wars: Episode IX actress cast in Game of Thrones prequel series

HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel series has added a slew of actors and actresses to their pilot episode including a Star Wars: Episode IX actress.
Game of Thrones may be coming to an end this year, cue sad face and tears, but at least we have a prequel series to look forward. A prequel series that will see a Star Wars: Episode IX actrees join in the new round of cast members announced.
TV Line reported that a slew of new actors and actresses had been cast for the upcoming series. And Naomi Ackie, who is set to appear in the upcoming Star Wars: Episode IX movie at the end of the year, has been cast.

Ackie’s role in Star Wars: Episode IX is still unknown. Although it is rumored that she will play the role of Lando Calrissian’s daughter. Billy Dee Williams will be returning to the Star Wars franchise to reprise his role as Lando. And it is expected the two will share scenes together.
In regards to the Game of Thrones prequel series, Ackie has been billed as a series regular. However, no character details have been announced for her role, nor any of the other cast members announced.
Those joining Ackie in the Game of Thrones prequel include Toby Regbo, who is known for Reign and The Last Kingdom. Ivanno Jeremiah from Humans. Georgie Henley from The Chronicles of Narnia films. Jamie Campbell Bower from Will. Sheila Atim from Harlots. Denise Gough from The Fall, and Alex Sharp from the Broadway production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

The Game of Thornes prequel was ordered back in June 2018 and is to be set 1000’s of years before the current series. A release date has not yet been announced but is expected after the series finale of Game of Thrones.
