The most hated Star Wars characters of all time

Ziro the Hutt
Is it his voice? His appearance? The fact that he speaks near-perfect Basic when literally every other Hutt primarily speaks their native language BECAUSE THEY ARE HUTTS AND THAT’S WHAT THEY DO?
There could be a million reasons why Ziro the Hutt (Yes, Jabba is pictured above) is loathed so intensely by, I’m going to guess, most of the Star Wars fanbase. But it’s impossible to argue that he is the worst product of The Clone Wars.
He’s a very dislikable, obnoxious, quirky character — I don’t blame people for hating him (myself included). But I can’t help but wonder if he’s so disliked because his story arcs called for it.
Clone Wars needed another unlikable character that wasn’t a traditional villain, one that really couldn’t be taken seriously. At the end of the day, the show still had to be kid-friendly — especially in the beginning — no matter how dark it got by its later seasons.
A lot of people hate him because he’s ridiculous. And if that kind of ridiculous really isn’t your thing, then you of course have every right to wish he never appeared on the show at all.
He is, like every other character on this list, just that: a character. He really means nothing in the larger timeline of the Star Wars universe, and even though Clone Wars is some of the best material we’ve gotten since the original trilogy, he’s still going to show up in every rewatch whether you hate him or could stand to tolerate him.
Yeah, the series probably could have done without him. But there’s nothing we can do about it now.
