Fresh on the heels of director Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian live-action TV series, a new rumor has hit. Beloved Star Wars character Obi-Wan Kenobi could be coming to Disney’s streaming channel.
Lucasfilm is keeping a tight lip on anything it may be working on, including Star Wars: Episode IX. Yet, recently a new rumor popped up that would see a favorite character with a limited series.
Star Wars News Net is reporting a source has told them that an Obi-Wan Kenobi series could land on Disney+, the upcoming streaming service. SWNN have posted other things that have been spot on so there could (and it should be stressed COULD) be true.

Although these are all just rumors and should be taken with a grain of salt — we can’t help but mention this one.
Kenobi, is popular with fans who have long wanted to see the great Jedi Master on screen again. Perhaps if the rumor proves true they will get to see him on the small screen. No telling what the setting would be.
With the rumors, it could be Disney sending smoke signals as it bide time with Episode IX.
While Obi-Wan prequel actor Ewan McGregor seemed out of place at the premiere of Solo, it fanned flames last year when he was asked if he would be interested in playing the iconic Kenobi “I would totally do it, of course.”
So with The Mandalorian and Rogue One Cassian Andor spinoffs already in the works. Would fans like to see Obi-Wan Kenobi? It seems McGregor would leap at the opportunity to put the Jedi robe on again.
