Star Wars: Episode IX rumor: Kylo Ren expected to use brutal moves on Resistance

We’ve had a fresh wave of Star Wars: Episode IX rumors to ponder over and one that has got fans very excited is Kylo Ren using brutal moves on the Resistance.

Remember when Darth Vader turned up at the end of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story? Well, if the latest Star Wars: Episode IX rumor is true, you can expect something similar with Kylo Ren and a group of Resistance fighters.

During the most recent “Now, This is Podcasting!” episode by Making Star Wars, they discussed a variety of different Star Wars: Episode IX rumors that they had heard of, but did not debunk or could not verify.

It was great fun to listen to and I highly recommend you listen to it at some point. As you can imagine, with the number of rumors floating around, they had plenty to talk about. From rumored Knights of Ren content, the Orange X-Wing, a potential zero gravity battle scene, and so much more, it’s going to be really interesting to see what comes to be and what does not.

One of the rumors that were discussed that has got fans really excited about is a scene between Kylo Ren and a group of Resistance fighters. Being compared to the scene at the end of Rogue One involving Darth Vader, Kylo Ren is expected to be displaying brutal moves, unlike anything we have seen before from the character, on these supposed Resistance fighters.

Considering the world that is Star Wars and what our characters are actually capable of, you have to admit, the level of brutality shown on screen has remained relativity low. The imagination has been left to fill in the gaps, that was until Rogue One.

The end scene involving Darth Vader cutting down Resistance fighters as if they were nothing more than weeds, was something never seen before and took everyone by surprise. The response was an overall positive one and it looks as though that has given Star Wars: Episode IX the green light to show off a level of brutality that they have not done before, in the form of Kylo Ren.

Assuming, of course, the rumor turns out to be correct.
