Star Wars Celebration: Episode IX panel announced with surprises in store
Star Wars: Episode IX is coming to Star Wars Celebration in the form of a panel. Look for surprises, special guests — and probably a trailer.
With Star Wars Celebration less than a month away, Lucasfilm announced a panel dedicated to Episode IX will be feature. This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, but we don’t know the details of the panel just yet.
This will likely finally be the moment when we get a trailer and a title. Of everything happening at Star Wars Celebration, this is THE panel to attend or at the very least stream.

Episode IX is the biggest thing coming in the Star Wars universe this year — and for years to come.
Even though there is plenty on the way in terms of content, none of them will match up to the hype and importance of Skywalker Saga finale. That’s why this panel will be one that you can’t miss.
What do we know?
The panel will take place on Friday, April 12.
Right now, we know that Kathleen Kennedy and J.J. Abrams will be on the panel.
Special guests are expected.
The panel will be streamed throughout Celebration and the other stages.
What can we expect?
The first thing we can expect are for those special guests to actually be stars of the movie. I would feel comfortable in saying Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver and Oscar Isaac to be there. They have conspicuously been left out of any other announcements from Celebration.
A trailer. FINALLY, A TRAILER!
Seriously, we are finally getting a real look at Star Wars: Episode IX. Since it hasn’t happened yet — other than Disney investors getting a recent sneak peek — this is when the trailer will finally hit.
We can’t for Star Wars Celebration, which takes place April 11-15 in Chicago.
