13. Captain Phasma

Before The Force Awakens, Captain Phasma received plenty of attention. She rose into the high ranks of the Stormtroopers and had a snazzy chrome uniform to go with her ranking.

Frustratingly, her roles in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi had left a lot to be desired.

Luckily, we finally learned more about her from the novel Star Wars: Phasma. She was a formidable fighter, rising through the ranks despite those who would plot against her – and they did. Yet, Phasma didn’t let them get the best of her by continuing to rise through the army.

She rose so high that she became the unofficial leader of the First Order stormtroopers.

But Phasma is ruthless, which is what helped her – though not for the people who crossed her. But this trait was important for when she was a child. Her and her brother helped defend the family from raids.

Yet, even that didn’t turn out well for her family. In the end, Phasma was a survivor. She was only out or herself, ensuring that her life above all was of utmost importance. Phasma has been captured and imprisoned, yet managed to fight through it all.

Phasma is a strong-willed character and we only wonder what she could have been had she not chosen the evil side. Though there is something to be gained from her perseverance, only the results have a lot to be desired.
