4. Ahsoka
Ahsoka Tano was a character that started cringe worthy and became one of the most popular in all of the Star Wars series. It wasn’t her fault. That happens a lot in the Star Wars fandom.
But let’s consider everything about Ahsoka. She was a padawan under Anakin Skywalker, who we know had authority issues. On Star Wars: The Clone Wars, where Ahsoka got her introduction, it was known that Anakin didn’t follow direction, and improvisation was a strong suit of his. It worked more times than not.
That’s whom Ahsoka learned from. The difference between Anakin and Ahsoka is that she didn’t let the dark side take over. Even though she was disillusioned by the Jedi Order – and for very good reasons – she channeled that energy into something else.
She helped other rebels fight against the Empire and Darth Vader, her former master.
Yet, there was more to Ahsoka than a heart of a warrior.
She also never gave up on the people she cares about. While attachments were shunned against in the Jedi Order, Ahsoka’s loyalties paid off when she needed them to. Anakin and her had a bond that helped rescue her more than once, and Ahsoka’s trust and faith in others allowed her to see beyond black and white.
Ahsoka Tano was so well-rounded that we haven’t gotten enough of her. While she popped up on Star Wars Rebels, there was even a crazy fan theory that maybe – just maybe – she was Rey’s mother and would show up in Star Wars: Episode IX. While that’s fun and crazy, Ahsoka’s character doesn’t need that.
She’s been able to stand on her own for this long. She could do it longer too.
