23. Adi Gallia

Yes, there were women on the Jedi High Council, we just don’t hear a lot about them. Adi Gallia served admirably, not just on the council but as a Jedi general in the Grand Army of the Republic.

Gallia — while a straight shooter and tended to do things by the book — also was an important asset for the Jedi in a number of ways. She was a strong fighter, logical thinker, and good source of information.

What’s important about Gallia is how she was always there to help. She entered many battles, fighting her way to victory. She fought with all the others in the Clone Wars like Obi-Wan Kenobi and Mace Windu, but she never got the attention of the others.

She was even a good pilot. Adi could do it all.

But that’s not why we love her. Adi fought side-by-side with her Jedi brethren for the light side. She was a tremendous asset to the Jedi and should always be remembered for her fierce fighting skills.

She was eventually killed by Savage Opress in a mission with Obi-Wan. His brute strength was too much for her, but she went down fighting, which seems fitting her Adi Gallia.
