21. Torra Doza

Torra Doza is one of the newest characters to the Star Wars family. The teen is an ace pilot on the animated series Star Wars Resistance.

She’s been one to watch on the first season as she navigates life on the Colossus. What makes Torra Doza empowering?

For starters, she’s an ace pilot at just 15 years old. Torra has managed to hold her own against some of the best pilots in the galaxy and doesn’t hold back when she’s up against them. Instead, Torra is aggressive, pushes herself forward and does it all with a sweet smile on her face.

What’s also great about Torra is that she has an innate sense of what is right and wrong, and will do what it takes to help her friends. When she first met Kaz, even though he was doing something shady and behind her father’s back, she had a feeling that Kaz was doing it for the right reason.

Torra protected him and it turned out to be the right move. Since then, Kaz has helped her in sticky situations even when she needed help in finding fellow ace pilot Hype Fazon who went missing.

Torra sticks to her gut and I hope she will be around for quite some time because I can’t wait to see the type of woman she grows into.
