Tip No. 7 Meet people
Say, hi.
There are going to be people around all day, especially while standing in lines. These could be lines for panels, autographs, food, bathroom breaks, etc. When waiting in line, take a moment to talk to the person next you.
One – it will help the time go by more quickly having someone to chat with. Rather than stare at your phone looking at pictures of people at Celebration, make new memories with the people in line around you.
Two – you might actually make a new friend. You’re all there for one reason – your absolute love of Star Wars. Take this moment to chat up with the people around you because it’s not like you have to wonder if you have in common. You already know you do!
Meeting people and potentially making friends will make the experience all the more worth the while. You might meet someone who loves the animated shows as much as you do or a fan who thinks Rose Tico got a raw deal.
There are so many different types of Star Wars fans and you’re bound to find one with the exact same interests as you while at Star Wars Celebration, and they could even be standing in line with you. There’s a good chance that person will be in the autograph line because you’re both waiting for an autograph from the same actor.
But don’t miss this opportunity to just say, “Hello there.”
