Star Wars Celebration: When and where is the next one?

Star Wars Celebration came to a close with a stellar five days. We’re already thinking about the next one and we have details on next year’s Celebration.

After five crazy days of fun, it’s good to be back home and get refreshed from Star Wars Celebration.

Star Wars fans gathered for an incredible event that saw great cosplayers, nearly 60 autograph signers and, of course, the Star Wars: Episode IX trailer and name reveal.

More from Star Wars Celebration

Now, there’s just about a year to recover as Lucasfilm announced where the next Celebration will take place – and we don’t have to wait too long this time.

The next Celebration will be next year in Anaheim.

We actually went two years since the last one, but with everything going in the Stars Wars universe, there was no way Lucasfilm would be able to sit another year out.

Just think of all the things that will happen a year from now:

  • Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will have released
  • The Mandalorian will have streamed on Disney+
  • The Clone Wars will have streamed season 7
  • Star Wars Resistance’s second will have been on air
  • Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will have been released
  • Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be open

Whew! That’s a lot and that’s just looking at the biggest of all things happening within a year’s time. There will be more comics, books, collectibles released in that time too. More than likely news TV series and even updates on the trilogies from Rian Johnson, and David Benioff and D.B. Weiss will be out too.

While some of us are still in recovery mode from this past Celebration, just seeing all that will happen within the next year makes us excited for the next one.

We can’t wait.

See you in Anaheim!
