11. Wicket W. Warrick – West Virginia
Located in the Appalachian Mountain range, West Virginia is appropriately nicknamed, “The Mountain State.” The state doesn’t just have a few peaks, it’s almost entirely covered in mountains and wilderness. Wicket W. Warrick would feel right at home in the mountains of West Virginia with is fellow Ewoks.
Wicket was an Ewok from the forest moon of Endor. Ewoks are short little furry creatures who are experts when it comes to forest survival. They were primitive when it came to their lifestyle, building their own villages and weaponry. They were also curious when it came to outsiders, but they always stood up for themselves and their allies.
Wicket first encountered Leia when she crashed in Endor while on a mission to destroy a shield that protected the Death Star. The Ewok was wary of the human, but when he realized that she wasn’t a member of the Imperials, he helped her take down a scout trooper. Wicket then led Leia to the Ewok village. Wicket and his fellow Ewoks joined the Rebel Alliance during the Battle of Endor while using the forestry homeland to their advantage. Wicket himself attacked stormtroopers with his trusty slingshot. After their victory, the Ewoks held a party within their village alongside their new Rebel Alliance friends.
