13. General Grievous – Maryland
Due to Maryland’s proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, it’s a popular destination for seafood, particularly, crab. The state has a bounty of sweet crab making it food lovers and fisherman. There is a specific character within the Star Wars universe that shares characteristics of that as a crab.
General Grievous made his live-action debut in Revenge of the Sith. He was an enemy of all Jedi and was trained in lightsaber combat by Sith Lord Count Dooku. Grievous took Supreme Chancellor Palpatine hostage at one point which gained the attention of Anakin and Obi-Wan. After the death of Count Dooku, Grievous’ leadership role changed as he took over as a political and military leader of the Separatists. After Grievous was tracked by Obi-Wan, the duo faced off in a lightsaber duel. During the fight, Grievous split each of his mechanical arms in half so that he could fight with four lightsabers.
His extra appendages aren’t Grievous’ only crab-like features. Grievous had impressive speed, including the ability to crawl. He was also cybernetic except for his vital organs which were protected by an exoskeleton. During his battle with Obi-Wan, Grievous had his chest plates ripped off which exposed his organs which is how he was ultimately killed.
