1. Chewbacca – Washington
The most Bigfoot sightings come from the Pacific Northwest, more specifically, Washington. More than half of the state is covered in dense forest, making it the best location for a Bigfoot creature to reside. It’s the home of many specimens of mammals, after all. Maybe Chewbacca would feel right at home in the woods of Washington.
As one of the most beloved characters within Star Wars and its extended universe, Chewbacca continues to be an important member of the franchise. Wookiees from the planet Kashyyyk are a highly intelligent species. Chewie becomes a sidekick to Han Solo and serves as a co-pilot on the Millennium Falcon. His combat skills go on full display during the original and sequel trilogy fighting Empire and the First Order.
Even though Chewie is an expert when it comes to fighting enemies with his bowcaster, he is from a relatively peaceful planet. The Wookiee is portrayed as a hairy humanoid, tall in stature and very strong. The same can be said about Bigfoot based on the long-told lore. Wookiees are known for living in deep forests and swamps, making Washington a great match for Chewbacca. There is no word if Bigfoots communicate in the same way Chewbacca does, but we can wish that to be true.
