34. Bail Organa – Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania is home to the great and historical city of Philadelphia. The home of the Liberty Bell and the birthplace of the American flag also served as a key location during the American Revolution. The Founding Fathers met in Philadelphia to sign the Declaration of Independence on July 7, 1776. The City of Brotherly Love and the state that encompasses it would be a great match for Senator Bail Organa.
Not only was Bail Organa a senator in the Galactic Senate and an ally to Padmé Amidala, but he was also a founding member of the Rebel Alliance alongside Mon Mothma. After appearing in Attack of the Clones, he reprised his role in Revenge of the Sith where he notably adopts Padmé’s daughter, Leia.
The leadership and knowledge Bail instilled in his Leia led her to become a prominent member in the takedown of the Empire. In Rogue One, Bail trusted his daughter to bring Obi-Wan out of hiding. If it wasn’t for Bail’s ideologies and compassion for those living in the galaxy, the Empire’s reign could have been much different. He paved the way for his daughter and the rest of the Rebels despite not always having the advantage.
