California, aka the “Golden State,” would be a perfect match for the beloved droid, C-3PO. The gold droid has a long history in the Star Wars universe just as California has a lengthy history in the United States. The character has appeared in every major Star Wars film among the three trilogy series.

The humanoid robot was built by Anakin Skywalker as a protocol droid. C-3PO was intended to assist in etiquette and communication.
