8. Boba Fett – Wisconsin

Hunting is a big pull for the tourism of Wisconsin. The state is a major destination for many hunters across the country. One character from the Star Wars world that would feel at home in Wisconsin is that of the bounty hunter, Boba Fett.

Boba Fett was known as the deadliest bounty hunter in the galaxy. During the war, Boba Fett was hired by Jabba the Hutt. He also worked for Darth Vader with fellow bounty hunters to locate Han Solo in the hopes of leading Luke Skywalker into a trap and the plan technically worked. In Return of the Jedi, Boba Fett was part of a battle on the desert planet of Tatooine. As rebels arrived to rescue Han, a fight broke out. During the squabble on Jabba’s sail barge, Boba Fett was knocked into the Sarlacc pit.

Hunting is a popular hobby and profession to be passed down through generations of Wisconsin natives. Boba Fett was in a similar situation when it came to bounty hunting. He was technically a clone of his father, infamous bounty hunter, Jango Fett. From a young age, he learned the skills needed for combat so that he would eventually become a legend within the galaxy. If he traded in bounty hunting for whitetail deer hunting, he would have felt right at home in Wisconsin.
