Star Wars: Kennedy confirms Knights of the Old Republic in development
Kathleen Kennedy said Lucasfilm is developing “something” for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. What could it be?
Knights Of the Old Republic is a very famous video game series set in the world of Star Wars. You got Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, Knights of the Old Republic 2 and The Old Republic.
It’s praised for its story and characters, and KOTOR 1 and 2 are single player narrative-driven games. Because of its popularity, many fans want a live-action film or series about The Old Republic
For fans of Knights of the Old Republic, there is hope. Kathleen Kennedy told MTV News:
"“You know we talk about [Knights of the Old Republic] all the time. Yes, we are developing something to look at. Right now I have no idea where things fall but we have to be careful that there is a cadence to Star Wars that doesn’t start to feel like too much.”"

So it does seem like something is the pipeline for Knights of the Old Republic. Now keep this in mind developing something, doesn’t mean they are going full steam ahead on Knights of the Old Republic.

Now there was a report some time ago by StarWarsNewsNet and its source told them they were “approached about working on the next movie this Autumn. It is not the Rian Johnson trilogy, it is the Game of Thrones guys’ first movie, and it is set during the Old Republic, as Disney wants to open up the timeline and appeal to a more Game of Thrones style audience.”
Every rumor or report should be taken with a grain of salt as this could end up being not true. I love The Old Republic series, and I would love for Lucasfilm to do something live-action with the Old Republic
