By bringing the Skywalker Saga to a close, it would make sense to bring Anakin Skywalker back in Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker.
Star Wars: Episode IX is going to bring the Skywalker saga full circle. We see an example of this in The Rise of Skywalker trailer when we hear Emperor Palpatine laughing.
With Episode IX tying everything up, does that mean Anakin Skywalker comes back as well?

There are a few options to bring Anakin back with one of them being a force ghost. The argument can be made for the first six movies, Star Wars is about the story of Anakin Skywalker, so it would make sense for him to appear in the finale.
With following his life as Darth Vader, his redemption, and what led to his downfall to the Dark Side, there needs to be a way to bring that all together for Episode IX.
Before The Last Jedi, there was speculation Anakin would appear as a force ghost as a light and a dark version with the light version appearing to Luke and the dark version appearing to Kylo Ren. It seems people really wanted to see Hayden Christensen back as Anakin Skywalker.
Through the years, the Star Wars community has a really shown positivity toward Christensen, which would lead to many fans wanting to see him comeback.
I would be interested to see Christensen back. He has become a better actor since the days of the prequels and if The Rise Of Skywalker is going bring all the movies full circle, it makes perfect sense to bring back Anakin Skywalker.
It may even be wrong not to.
