The Rise of Skywalker and the Knights of Ren
The mysterious Knights of Ren are planned to appear in Star Wars: Episode IX. But what kind of role would you want them to play?
Star Wars: The Force Awakens showed fans a look at the mysterious Knights of Ren, elite fighters who appeared to be under the training of the dark side of the Force. Not sure if they were under the leadership of then Supreme Leader Snoke, but their all too brief screen time fans wondered just what the Knights did.
With the Knights of Ren returning in The Rise of Skywalker, it opens up questions. If the rumor is accurate and the Knights return would they be under the leadership of Kylo Ren? Or would they view Kylo as an enemy knowing he killed Snoke?

Fans are hoping their will be some sort of backstory to the intriguing group of warriors. Adding to the suspense of the Knights of Ren was the fact that they did not appear at all in The Last Jedi. With many question that still need answers, such as will we see the Knights of Ren is present day battle?
Their exact role is only known by those closest to the movie, but there was a recent potential spoiler about their role from Making Star Wars. We don’t want to spoil that here, but if you are inclined you can take a look at that here.
One thing that would be cool is IF the Knights had their own platoon of Stormtroopers who cleared areas for the Knights to come in and fight. Yet they also appear to be a group who do not need much help.
With many things to fill in, fans can trust director J.J. Abrams to finish the sequel trilogy in a way that will not leave many grey areas.
Star Wars: Episode IX premieres worldwide on December 20.
