7. Mace Windu

Even though Mace Windu didn’t really stand a chance against Palpatine when he went to arrest him, he was the last of the Jedi Knights standing against him. It’s a testament to how well-trained he was and how much he was willing to sacrifice to try to bring Palpatine to justice.

Prior to his final moment, Windu encountered Count Dooku, Mother Talzin, Jango Fett and many others throughout the years. He fought in many battles and was heralded as the Jedi Champion at one point. Yoda held him in high regard, which is not something that all Jedi could necessarily claim.

There are multiple forms of lightsaber combat and Windu was a master of Form VII. He was the only Jedi who mastered it and didn’t succumb to the dark side. His Force powers were also stronger than other Jedi. His telekinesis and mind control skills made it so he could take out many droids at once or influence weak-minded people.

Mace Windu leaves behind a great legacy as a Jedi Master. He made a huge impact with his heroics in the Battle of Lessu and the Jedi who followed were influenced by his fighting style and abilities. He never wavered in his loyalty and he was able to do so much good in his time as a Jedi due to how skilled he is as a fighter.
