3. Yoda

At first glance, Yoda might not look like much of a fighter, but he’s one of the greatest Jedi fighters to ever live. He might be small, but he’s more than mighty enough to hold his own against some of the biggest villains in Star Wars history.

In Attack of the Clones, Yoda faced Count Dooku, who has also made this list. It was the first time fans got to see Yoda in action. I don’t think I’ve watched the prequel trilogy more than once since I got into Star Wars a bit later in life than most of the people I know did. However, I can admit that while the movies aren’t firing on all cylinders 100 percent of the time, we did get some good moments, this one included.

Things could have easily been laughable with this fight scene, but thankfully it wasn’t and Yoda’s talents were on full display. He’s extremely skilled and his size probably makes him a harder target to hit. Count Dooku does throw some Force lightning his way, but Yoda is able to absorb it and it makes for a great scene.

Yoda also takes on Darth Sidious in Revenge of the Sith. Darth Sidious is beyond powerful and Yoda realizes that during this battle. He holds his own, but he is aware that he’s not powerful enough to singlehandedly defeat Sidious. Yoda might not be one who ends up in a lot of fights, but he’s found himself in some major ones that show us just how great of a fighter he truly is.
