1. Luke Skywalker

Luke Skywalker was trained by Obi-Wan Kenobi and he decided to fight on the side of the Rebellion. He sought out Yoda to learn from him, too. With both of those Jedi Masters on his side, he became a skilled fighter over time. He was already a good pilot when Obi-Wan started training him, but he truly proved himself when he took out the Death Star with one precise shot.

Luke had two huge fights against his father in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Despite not having nearly as much training as his father, Luke is able to hold his own. He’s clumsy in the first fight because he hasn’t completely figured out how to use the Force to his advantage, but the fight is still one of the best to watch.

Even though Luke went into hiding after he and Ben Solo (currently known as Kylo Ren) got into a huge fight that ended in devastation, he was still powerful. We even get a moment in The Last Jedi where he has his best “fight” when he shows up as a Force ghost to taunt Kylo.

Luke’s legacy will live on and it’s hard to imagine that there’s anyone in the galaxy who wouldn’t be familiar with the Skywalker name at this point. Even the final movie of the trilogy has it in its name. The Rise of Skywalker doesn’t give off the hint of an ending, but maybe a new beginning.
