19. Chewbacca

There was no way that Chewbacca wasn’t going to make this list. He’s easily the largest fighter on this list and his skillset doesn’t involve having to use a lightsaber like many others who you’ll see here. He’s also the furriest on the list.

When you consider that and the fact that he doesn’t have a connection to the Force, he has to be a great fighter in order to have survived this long.

While Han Solo is gone, Chewie continues on and knows that he’ll continue fighting no matter what happens. We see how he and Han met in Solo: A Star Wars Story where he helps free other Wookies from their enslaved lives in the spice mines. He’s in close quarters and handily takes care of anyone standing in his way

Let’s not forget that Chewie loves his bowcaster, which he is stunningly accurate with. Not only that, but his temper can cause him to lash out and you’ll just want to stay out of his way when that happens. Chewie is one of those characters who doesn’t always have to put the most effort in due to his size. However, he’s still done enough great fighting to get a spot on the list. What would Star Wars even be without him in it at this point? I’m not sure I’d want to know. Not yet, anyway.
