Pre Vizsla

Pre Vizsla was a murderous misguided terrorist and, even though he stood more powerful than Bo-Katan, he was always used a contrast to her morality. He believed in Mandalore like most terrorists believe in their cause and because of that he was an interesting political based villain.

His downfall in The Clone Wars was when he allied with a more powerful villain, Darth Maul, for the simple reason that they both had it out for Obi-Wan Kenobi and the alliance appeared to aid him in his main goal of ruling Mandalore. When he attempted to betray Maul he ended up decapitated.

So why is he on this list if he’s dead? No, I don’t expect them to resurrect a character that was beheaded on-screen (sorry Jango). But his character arc was interesting enough that it could spawn a good character who is a relative and is influenced by his political beliefs and nationalistic fervor towards Mandalore.

Pre Vizsla is dead but his ideas are not. Demagogues endure even after they die and we’ve seen that Mandalorians are a very proud group that would easily be swayed by his beliefs even if he died during the Clone Wars and the new Mandalorian tv show takes place after Return of the Jedi.
