With all the content these days, if you need a different way to consume Star Wars, books may be the way to go.

Just this year alone, there have been several new books including Queen’s Shadow, which told the story of Padme’s move from queen to a senator, Master & Apprentice, an early story of Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Dooku: Jedi Lost, an audio only book that told more about Dooku’s past and why he left the Jedi order.

While these books focus on the prequel era, there are so many more options available from canon stories to those that are not part of the Legends group of books. Plenty to leave your reading for months and months and months.

If you’re unsure on where to start, here’s a guide for a good jumping off point.

So grab a book and snuggle up with a nice drink to read more about Star Wars and add more context to some truly amazing characters. Just because the movies have ended doesn’t mean you need to stop spending time with your favorite characters.
