14. Kylo Ren kills Snoke

One of the main questions surround Kylo Ren in the first two installments with the sequel trilogy is whether Kylo Ren still has some good in him. Luke could see Kylo’s pull to the dark side from at an early age, but his parents never fully gave up on him. Unfortunately, that led to Han Solo’s death at the hands of his son.

Rey was another one who thought Kylo could come back from the dark side. She and Kylo share a lot in common with not truly understanding their place in the galaxy. In The Last Jedi, Kylo captured Rey and delivered her to Supreme Leader Snoke as a way to prove himself. Snoke ordered Kylo to kill Rey but instead, he came to a realization.

Kylo knew that Snoke would also kill him so instead, Kylo used the Force to cut Snoke in half with Luke’s lightsaber. For a moment, it seemed like Kylo redeemed himself a little bit and that he might come back from the dark side. He fights Snoke’s protectors alongside Rey and the two look to work well together. Of course, that hope is short-lived because after Rey refused to join him, he framed her for Snoke’s death.
