Just when you thought the Star Wars video game announcements were done, the latest release features throwbacks coming you way.
Fans have a new batch of Star Wars video game releases to anticipate — but you’ll have to act fast to get them.
Limited Run is partnering with LucasArts to release collector’s editions of classic Star Wars video games.
The partnership was announced Monday during Limited Run’s E3 presentation. A teaser video promoting the pairing features podracing, fights, and Darth Vader — and reveals decades worth of video game development.
Per Game Informer, the releases will include:
- Star Wars
- Star Wars: Bounty Hunter
- Star Wars: Dark Forces
- Star Wars Episode I: Racer
- Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
- Star Wars: Jedi Knight
- Star Wars Jedi Knight II – Jedi Outcast
- Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
- Star Wars: Racer Revenge
- Star Wars: Rebel Assault
- Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
- Star Wars: TIE Fighter
- Star Wars: X-Wing
The partnership kicks off with Star Wars Bounty Hunter for PS4 and Star Wars for NES and GameBoy, which are set for release on June 28.
One thing to keep in mind: like its name, Limited Run games feature limited production — meaning they often sell out quickly. A set of tips for buying Limited Run games is available online, and those who miss out on a game can sign up for a waiting list.
