Time to relive one of the coolest moments from the Star Wars prequels with the LEGO Star Wars Anakin’s Podracer. Who’s ready to Podrace?

In Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace audiences were introduced to the violent yet exciting world of podracing. On the big screen, this intense race was a nail biter until the very end when Anakin pulls through proving any doubters, including Sebulba wrong. Thanks to LEGO, fans can recreate the experience with the Anakin’s Podracer™ – 20th Anniversary Edition.

For $29.99 the 279 piece set comes with the three minifigures “Anakin Skywalker, Padmé Amidala and bonus anniversary Luke Skywalker in his X-wing pilot suit on a detachable display stand.”

More from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

For ages 7 and up, Anakin’s podracer looks pretty close to the one from the 1999 film. The details are spot on, even down to the way Padme’s hair is styled and the clothes both she and Anakin are wearing.

The reviews have been positive with 4.8 out of 5 stars. With summer vacation approaching this LEGO set could make the perfect indoor activity for kids and adults alike on a rainy day. Whether for play or display, the set will bring back the excitement and thrills one piece at a time.

Fans can find other LEGO sets from The Phantom Menace including the Sith Infiltrator™ Microfighter and the Naboo Starfighter™ Microfighter for more adventures. Although it would be fun to have more podracer sets in the future to enable creators to recreate the Boonta Eve Classic.
