5. Nathalie Emmanuel

The casting of Nathalie Emmanuel is not unlikely with David Benioff and D.B. Weiss heading up a Star Wars trilogy. Every producer or director has that inner circle of performers they like to string along throughout different projects.

We’ve seen it with J.J. Abrams, who brought on Keri Russell to The Rise of Skywalker after both teamed up for Felicity and Mission: Impossible III. When it comes to D&D’s list of actors and actresses they could pull from Game of Thrones, Emmanuel is an obvious choice.

Playing Ramsey in The Fate of the Furious, most of Emmanuel’s prior work consists of shorts and television side roles, but it was much of the same with Daisy Ridley and that didn’t stop her from landing the leading role of the sequel trilogy.

Emmanuel was brilliant as Missandei during her 38 episodes of the hit HBO drama, and she is deserving of landing a role on the big screen—especially with the biggest intellectual property of all time.

I envision Emmanuel in a leading role as a mercenary or fighter pilot, similar to Han Solo; she could pull off someone who doesn’t choose a side, but has tremendous skill at the wheel of any ship she flies and can get the job done. Give her an inspiring back story and motivation, throw in a trusty side-kick droid as her co-pilot, and we’ve got ourselves the next best buddy-cop duo.
