7. Millie Bobby Brown

We all know her as Eleven from Netflix’s Stranger Things, and, most recently, she finally made her feature-film debut in Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Millie Bobby Brown is on the rise, and, if Lucasfilm is looking to recruit younger talent, she’s their answer.

Originally, many were hopeful that Millie Bobby Brown would play a young Princess Leia in either a Disney+ series or live-action film-taking place during the early days of the Rebellion. She so closely resembles what I would imagine a younger Carrie Fisher would look like.

When asked at Emerald City Comic Con 2017 if she could take any role in TV or film to play, she chose Leia, saying she thought Carrie Fisher is incredible and she would love to carry on her legacy—this was shortly after Fisher passed away in December 2016.

Last Halloween, Brown also dressed up as Leia alongside her Stranger Things co-stars. All of it was convincing me we’d see her pull off the famed buns.

Even though the franchise is now moving away from Skywalkers, rebellions, and empires and into uncharted territory with this new slate of films, Brown would still excel in a Star Wars role even outside the realm of Alderaanian royalty.

Brown’s work on Stranger Things has proven she won’t have trouble finding a job for what should be a long-lived acting career. The majority of her screen-time in Stranger Things is non-verbal and portrayed through her facial expressions, and she has become a fan favorite that we’re consistently rooting for.

When the new season premieres July 4, just pretend that Eleven’s telekinetic powers are really just her audition to be a Force user in the next phase of Star Wars films.
