The second Death Star

If destroying the Death Star once wasn’t enough, the Rebels now had to do it again. Imagine defeating the worst thing you would ever see in your lifetime – a gigantic battle station capable of destroying entire planets.

This wasn’t just theory, but a practical weapon that was used against Alderaan. Then, you destroy it and feel as though victory is upon you.

It’s not.

Because you learn a new one, bigger and badder than the last was created. It would be easy to give up in this moment because how can you fight something that keeps coming back crazier than the last time.

Yet, that’s what they had to do and the Rebels fought and destroyed the second Death Star – this time with the help of those from around the galaxy including those adorable Ewoks despite it actually being a set up against the Rebellion.

It took a multi-front effort to defeat second Death Star and Emperor Palpatine. Han and Leia on Endor to take down the shield generator, the space battle with Lando, Chewbacca and the rest of the rebellion, and Luke aboard the Death Star to finally take down the Emperor once and for all – or so we thought.

The rebels never gave up in the face of insurmountable odds.
