Vader Immortal: Episode II has force training and a new creature

Fans of virtual reality gaming and Star Wars previewed the upcoming Vader Immortal: Episode II at a panel held by ILMxLAB on Friday. The three-part series is set on volcanic planet Mustafar and allows gamers to experience the Star Wars universe through virtual reality.

The second chapter features players training under Darth Vader and using Force abilities like lifting objects and throwing ignited lightsabers at foes. Once training is complete, players embark on a mission to deliver the Bright Star, a sacred Mustafarian artifact, to Vader. The panel also unveiled the never-seen-before monster, the Darkghast and its home, Corvax Fortress, where the mission takes place.

Episode II is expected to release later in 2019 on Oculus Rift.
