With all the possibilties Disney+ offers Star Wars fans, here are six different shows we propose for the streaming service.

Disney+ should be a giant hit for the mouse company. It will feature movies and television series in a way Disney hasn’t done before.

With the announcement of a potential Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series for the streaming service it has given us new ideas for what kind of Star Wars shows we’d like to see on Disney+.

So far, The Mandalorian is slated for a Day 1 release on Disney+ on November 12. Star Wars fans are also getting a Cassian Andor series. It was announced at D23 Expo, that Obi-Wan Kenobi is coming back for a series too.

Lucasfilm has struck some interesting notes, ones that certainly excite us. But there is room for different types of shows and here’s a look at six Star Wars series we would like to see on the streaming service one day.

The Rise of the Resistance

There is a book coming later this year that will likely go into some of what happened between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. But I’m looking for something deeper than that. I’m looking for someone  of how the Resistance came to be in the first place.

Of course, Leia had something to do with it and we got a glimpse of it in Bloodline, but the gap between The Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens has left for decades of stories.

We need them.

Let’s get a series on how the Resistance came to be and all the little clues that also showed how the First Order began to rise.
