The Millennium Falcon

You’ve never heard of the Millennium Falcon? It’s the ship that made the Kessel Run in…well, you know. And it’s pretty hard to miss. Though it bears the rectangular sensor dish from the sequel trilogy (after the round one was smashed off during the Battle of Endor), it’s unmistakably the same Falcon we know and love. Inside the Smuggler’s Run ride, you’ll have a chance to sit down at the dejarik table while you wait for your group’s turn to pilot the Falcon, next to which you can see the remote and helmet Luke uses during his first Force training exercise.

Now, before you leave Batuu, be sure to check out last detail.

There’s something alive down here…

In the marketplace, head over to the water refilling station. The Aurebesh warning near the water suggests that it might not be drinkable for all lifeforms. Stick around and a dianoga, fresh from the Death Star’s trash compactor, will occasionally poke its cyclopean head above the water to gawk at the tourists.

And that’s just scratching the surface. If you’ve grown up drinking deep of Star Wars lore, Galaxy’s Edge is a treasure trove of detail.
