Undercover Boss: Starkiller Base
Jan. 16, 2016
He’s having trouble connecting with his team.
So Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) wears a disguise — he’s now “Matt,” a radar technician — to appear on NBC’s “Undercover Boss: Starkiller Base.”
“(I’ve been) a little caught up in restoring the galaxy to its rightful state. You miss what’s going on behind the scenes,” he says. “I’m looking forward to having some real talk with some real folks.”
“Matt” enters a common area and starts talking to the employees, asking them about their thoughts on Kylo Ren’s plans to finish his grandfather Darth Vader’s plans.
“What exactly has he started?” asks Tim (Bobby Moynihan), a Stormtrooper for the 501st Legion.
Zack (Taran Killam), a lieutenant colonel, defends Kylo.
“I think he gets a bad rap. He’s trying to accomplish something that’s never been done in the galaxy.”
Matt struggles at taking orders from his supervisor (Leslie Jones). “Can you please stop yelling at me? You’re starting to stress me out.”
After Kylo … Matt … shows off his lightsaber, the ruse is revealed.
“I’m 90% sure Matt is Kylo Ren,” Zack says.
Kylo’s recent killing of Zack’s son, along with use of the force to attack his employees, adds intensity and fear to Kylo’s undercover efforts.
“Matt straight up sucks,” Tim says.
