A new Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker leak explains the ending of the upcoming movie and what the big battle will look. Are you ready?

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will have to come with at least one big battle scene – if not more. It’s the finale of the Skywalker Saga and you can’t end Star Wars without a major, well, a war.

While we know there will be a fight between Kylo Ren and Rey, which we saw in the preview teaser, there is still another big fight looming. Warning: Spoilers ahead! If you want to remain spoiler free for The Rise of Skwyalker, head back now.

And, remember, take leaks and rumor with a pinch of salt.

The supposed leak comes from Making Star Wars, which seems to have gotten the low down on the final big battle that involves Palpatine. After going through it, I have some thoughts.

The two big things to take away from the latest leak is that Ben Solo dies. If you were taking bets, the odds would have been in his favor that he would not make it to the end. So that’s not really surprising.

Also, it seems Rey is able to tap into her powers by invoking the Jedi who came before her. Perhaps there will be a slew of Force ghosts coming to help such as Luke, Obi-Wan, Anakin and others. We don’t know for sure, but it seems that she draws on their power in order to face Palpatine.

After what was is written, it looks as though Rey is one of the strongest Force users we will see in Star Wars. Palpatine was up there, but in order to face him, she is going to have to meet him with equal power.

In this case, she has Leia’s and Anakin’s lightsaber to do it.

Perhaps that’s where the Skywalker part of the “Skywalker Saga” come in. To be honest, it seems weird to call this the Skywalker Saga and not have someone from that family tree to part in the final battle.

Rey’s lineage has been rumored to be not from the Skywalker clan.

While Making Star Wars is reliable – and I’m not blaming Jason – I don’t care for this ending. I’m not sure what I expected, but I’m just not loving it.
