Star Wars: Naomi Ackie geeks out over Jannah Pop! vinyl figure

Naomi Ackie might be a newbie to Star Wars, but she’s proven she’s just as geeky as the fans. Especially when she saw the Jannah pop vinyl figure for the first time.

A video posted on the offical Star Wars UK Twitter page for Triple Force Friday has revealed actress Naomi Ackie’s reaction to seeing her character, Jannah’s pop vinyl figure from the upcoming The Rise of Skywalker Pop Vinyl toy line. Co-star Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico) joined her for the unveiling and man did they have fun!

Ackie and Tran spoke with Anthony Carboni, the co-host of The Star Wars Show in a live-stream event where they got to see their pop vinyl figures for the first time. This reveal is the second for Kelly as Rose also received pop vinyl figures before the release of The Last Jedi in 2017.

Kelly said she was excited to witness the unveiling of Naomi’s figure and couldn’t believe how cool it was when it was revealed.

Naomi was in awe of the pop vinyl’s hair and couldn’t believe how accurate it was to her character’s. The longer live-stream video also unveiled the Jannah action figure from the Hasbro black series.

Carboni revealed a pop up book called The Ultimate Pop Up of the Galaxy by Matthew Reinhart. The book is only five pages but it will show all the epic parts of the nine part story that follows the Skywalker family.

There’s so much more where those came from and we cannot wait to scoop up the new merch from the upcoming final Skywalker Saga film.

The final Saga film, Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker arrives in cinemas in December 2019, a few weeks after The Mandalorian drops on Disney+.
