Star Wars: Are you more excited for Episode IX or The Mandalorian?

With Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and The Mandalorian just about ready for us, which are you most excited for?

It’s the end of 2019 and things are about to heat up for Star Wars fans. It’s amazing to think we are going to get two mega things with the first live-action Star Wars TV series, The Mandalorian, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Over several months this past summer, I felt more excited about The Mandalorian. New characters, a new story and who knows what else was coming. Don’t get me wrong, I was stull psyched for Episode IX, but I was more intrigued by The Mandalorian.

The night The Rise of Skywalker final trailer came out, it changed for me. I found myself on the edge of my seat, tears in my eyes and in love with what was happening. I realized these characters I grew up with and the new ones who found their place in my heart was everything I wanted in that moment.

Now, as I read Resistance Reborn (here’s a TV series I wish we had right now), my heart is swelling with the love I have for these characters.

I know that I am way more pumped for The Rise of Skywalker than for The Mandalorian because when the newest trailer for the TV series hit, I was excited but not AS excited.

It really makes no difference though. I’m going to watch it all and consume as much content as humanly possible. With Disney+ and The Mandalorian hitting on November 12 – that’s so soon! – and The Rise of Skywalker just six weeks out, it’s going to be amazing!

But there are some fans who are more excited for The Mandalorian and others who are more excited for Episode IX.
