Use the Force

Something that the new trilogy of films has been pretty consistent in is showing us new ways to harness the Force outside of what we already have seen. From Kylo Ren freezing a blaster bolt in mid-air, to Leia pulling herself from the vacuum of space, to Luke projecting his image across the galaxy, we’re being shown new ways the force can be harnessed on a pretty regular basis.

I don’t doubt that The Rise of Skywalker will add even more uses that we aren’t able to fathom right now.

What I’d like to see is some new uses shown to us through Cal. Nodding back to The Force Unleashed, Galen Marek pulled down a Star Destroyer by himself. While this isn’t a particularly new power, seeing (or controlling) one character manage it single handedly was mightily impressive, and something highly memorable in a pretty good game.

One or two feats of totally unexpected usage of the Force from Cal would, at the very least, deepen the series’ lore, and help it set its place within the universe.
