“Baby Yoda” is clearly the star of The Mandalorian series so far and arguably one of the most adorable creatures to ever be put on screen. Here are five other species from the Star Wars saga whose baby versions would be equally as cute.

When The Mandalorian was announced and details about the show slowly became available to the public there was a lot of excitement. The story of a lone Mandalorian bounty hunter in a galactic wild west setting, had a lot of fans pumped and counting down the days until the show’s release.

Little did they know that the Mandalorian himself wouldn’t be the star of the show, but the scene-stealing would go to a much smaller and more adorable counterpart.

“Baby Yoda” as he is known as around the world of social media, has become a sensation. With those big black eyes, and long green ears on that tiny little head, he’s the cutest thing to be put on screen since that loveable Mogwai, Gizmo was in theaters in the mid-’80s.

It’s shocking Disney and Lucasfilm haven’t started a big marketing push and have filled store shelves across the Nation with plush stuffed Baby Yodas in time for Christmas. Though signs point that it will happen.

Yoda himself isn’t overly adorable and the only other of his species, the female Yaddle, is by no means a looker. So it makes one wonder how would other famous Star Wars species look in baby form? Would they be as adorable as the little green friend of The Mandalorian?

It’s quite possible. Here are the top five species that could rival “Baby Yoda” in the cuteness department.
