Wampa

Wampas are terrifying creatures. They live in the barren cold of the ice planet Hoth, and clearly have a hankering for human flesh.

The one we see in The Empire Strikes Back is basically a huge hulking yeti that has white hair covering it’s clearly jacked body. Instead of eyes, it just has empty black sockets and the curled horns coming out of its head give it a devilish appearance. The fact it lets out a bone-chilling roar and has blood staining it’s snow-like fur makes it doubly terrifying.

As intimidating and scary as this creature is, there is no doubt a baby version would be extremely cute.

A little baby Wampa would basically be just a teddy bear. It would have stumpy little limbs, and even those soulless black eyes would be cute on a wee little head. It’s likely the horns wouldn’t grow until the creature becomes an adult so it would possibly even resemble a little Ewok. Its roar would be more of a coo, and the adorable sound it would make would win over even the most grizzled Star Wars fan.

Having a baby Wampa in The Mandalorian could make sense. Maybe the lone gunman gets a bounty from a zookeeper type of client, who wants him to go to Hoth and capture one of these beasts.

It would be easier for The Mandalorian to get a baby version rather than having to deal with the roaring beast that could rip his limbs straight off, Beskar armor or not.
