Dexter Jettster

Dexter Jettster is a character from Attack of the Clones who owns an old diner and is friends with Obi-Wan Kenobi. Obi-Wan apparently goes to this guy from time to time and gets some information that he can’t find anywhere else. It’s a pretty fun scene where Obi-Wan clearly enjoys his time with the Besalisk, and it makes one wonder how they became such good friends, and if they were ever on an adventure together in years past.

Dexter Jettster may not be loved like Baby Yoda is, but he isn’t a maligned character like Jar Jar Binks either. He could be welcomed back onto the big screen in the final chapter of the Star Wars films. His appearance could also make a lot of sense story-wise.

Dexter Jettster is a man who knows things that even droids don’t. Whether it’s from rumblings he hears in his diner, or if he has other, shadier methods of getting this info is unclear. It does appear that The Rise of Skywalker will deal with the hunt for long lost Sith and Jedi artifacts.

If that is the case, it would make sense that this old Jawa juice slinger would know the whereabouts or at least have information about one of them.

Rey and company could go to Coruscant and visit the diner that Obi-Wan himself stepped in all those years ago. If Dex knew the dart that Obi-Wan brought in was from Kamino, he’d likely have an idea of where a certain Sith or Jedi artifact could be found, assuming he is still alive.
