The Ships and Vehicles

Attack of the Clones features some of the coolest looking ships and vehicles in any Star Wars movie and it would be a welcomed addition to have some of these featured in The Rise of Skywalker.

The Battle of Geonosis itself is loaded with cool looking ships and ground vehicles. The Attack Gunships of the Republic Army have a great design and not only pack a punch with their weaponry but also can transport a number of troops. The AT-TE walkers are more of a primal looking tank than the classic AT-AT and would come in handy for the Resistance when fighting the forces of the First Order on the ground.

Another interesting vehicle that was in the first battle of the Clone Wars was the Federation’s Halffire Class Droid Tank. This was the tank with the giant spinning wheels that could cover a lot of ground in a hurry and also was equipped with powerful blasters and cannons.

Other ships that stand out in Attack of the Clones are the Jedi starfighters, Senator Amidala’s sleek transport, and even the speeder Anakin “borrows” to chase Zam Wessel has a nice 1950s classic car vibe to it.

The Resistance has assembled a ragtag group of starships to counter the forces of the First Order. They are not picky about what they will use as long as it can fly and has weapons. Some of these ships can be seen in the shot of the Resistance forces assembling in the final trailer for The Rise of Skywalker but hopefully, we get more than a fleeting look.
