Star Wars: 10 characters who may die in The Rise of Skywalker

I’m worried about Chewbacca. The Wookiee has dealt with a lot of heartache, especially after his best friend and co-pilot was killed in The Force Awakens.

I’m concerned for many of the original characters because I feel like their time is precious in the Star Wars sequels.

Despite having lost so much, Chewbacca is still part of the fight. He is with Rey, Poe and Finn, fighting for the galaxy. As a Wookiee, it’s not surprising given all that the Empire did to him and his people.

Yet this feels personal. Chewbacca knew Ben as a child and then watched as he killed Han Solo.

I’m not sure Chewbacca has the same room for forgiveness or tolerance that Leia and Rey may have (and not sure I would either), but Chewbacca is fighting for what’s good, he is fighting for revenge and fighting for the memory of his best friend.

He doesn’t have much left in the galaxy but this fight. I do worry about Chewbacca and if that means the big guy will meet his end in The Rise of Skywalker.
