Star Wars: 10 characters who may die in The Rise of Skywalker

General Hux

I’ve had this question for a while, but why haven’t we seen Hux in any of the trailers? He seems to be one of the few characters from the previous prequel movies that we don’t know anything about in The Rise of Skywalker.

In the first two prequel movies, Hux and Kylo Ren were the top leaders for Snoke. Hux led the much of the strategic military aspects of the First Order while Kylo Ren did other things. As a lightsaber-wielding Force user, Kylo seemed to be a more a special projects kind of guy.

Yet there was no love between the two of them. Now with Kylo Ren as the First Order Supreme Leader, Hux might find himself on the outs.

The last time the two interacted, Kylo Ren through Hux into a wall where he passed out. That doesn’t seem like the type of thing you do to friends or even colleagues. But this is the First Order after all.

So what does that all mean for General Hux?

While Hux may be a survivor as he has proven over the course of his life, his luck may have run out. With the Resistance coming together and Kylo Ren seemingly having no need for him, this looks like it may be the end of the road for him.
