Allegiant General Pryde

Star Wars fans haven’t even met Allegiant General Pryde yet and we haven’t seen him in too many previews, which means he may not be in too much of the movies. That could be for a number of reasons, but a big one could also mean he dies.

This is another low stakes death because we aren’t attached to him yet. We haven’t met Pryde, even in novels so his death may be an easy one for the writers without leaving too much baggage.

Plus, he is one of the bad guys. Some of the bad guys are going to have to go (just like some of the good guys).

If the culmination of the film is an all-out war, which certainly seems like it may be the case, Pryde will be on the First Order side of things. Ships are blowing up, bombs are being dropped.

It’s likely he will be in the path of one of the destructions.

Richard E. Grant is a fantastic actor and I look forward to what he could being to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Though I hope he doesn’t win because I’m rooting for the Resistance.
