Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is just weeks away. Here are some things from A New Hope that should be in the film in some capacity.

A New Hope is the Star Wars film that started it all.

The story of a young farm boy and how he gets caught up and becomes an important part of the battle to free the galaxy from the evil clutches of the Galactic Empire is one for the ages. It’s sad to think that after 40 years this story is coming to an end this month with the release of the ninth episode in the saga The Rise of Skywalker.

Being that closing chapter, The Rise of Skywalker needs to have nods and plenty of Easter eggs that go back to earlier chapters in the story of the Skywalker family.

With A New Hope being the first movie released back in 1977, and one of the all-time greatest movies ever made, we’ve already been reacquainted with many of its best characters and locations in other Star Wars movies.

Some aspects like classic Star Destroyers and the Tantive IV we already know are in the movie from the trailers. That being said there are still some things that we can hope make an appearance in The Rise of Skywalker, here are three of them.
