Dagobah

Dagobah is the swamp world that Jedi Master Yoda exiled himself to after he was unable to destroy Darth Sidious in battle. It’s a muck hole that is loaded with plants and creatures but has no intelligent life on it other than our little green friend. It is a place that seems to be rich with the Force and that is a major reason why it should make an appearance in The Rise of Skywalker.

Rumors hint that Rey and her friends will be searching for Jedi and Sith artifacts in this film. It would make sense that their search would lead them to the home of the most powerful Jedi who ever lived. Yoda would certainly have collected some Jedi items over his 900 years, and would probably have taken some with him to his exile. His home could be a treasure trove of ancient Jedi weapons, texts, or something that could help in the fight against the resurrected Palpatine.

Dagobah also featured a cave that was rich in the Dark Side of the Force. That would be a prime place to look for a Sith artifact but in a recent Kylo Ren comic, he was brought to Dagobah with Snoke. Snoke had him enter the cave, and after a vision of his parents and Uncle Luke, Ren destroyed the cave. So if the film stays true to that material, the dark cave is likely out.

It would warm the hearts of many fans if this swamp planet once again appeared on the big screen and Yoda’s theme by John Williams accompanied it.
