Rey dies

Many people assume Ben Solo/Kylo Ren will be the one who ends up dying in the end. I’m going to go out on a limb and say it is actually Rey who will die.

Rey has been the hero of the Sequel Trilogy following a similar path as Luke Skywalker did in the Original Trilogy. She is an orphan who meets a droid and gets swept up in a galactic war to find out she has a much greater destiny than she could’ve ever imagined.

She is the last of the Jedi and the one true hope to bring peace to the galaxy by destroying Kylo Ren and the First Order.

It would be shocking to see Rey die, but perhaps it is she who sacrifices herself in the end.

Reylo believer or not, there seems to be some sort of attraction between Rey and Ben Solo. Perhaps they realize a romantic connection in this film, and in the end, she sacrifices herself to save the man she loves. Maybe she does it because it is the only way to defeat Palpatine.

It would be a sad ending to a character many have fallen in love with over the last two films, but if she did die, chances are she’d appear as a Force ghost next to her old Master Luke Skywalker.
